New York Motorsports owner Dave Hance, founder and promoter of the Shakedown at E’town, announced Wednesday that the Northeast’s premiere street-legal doorslammer drag race will go by a new name: The Shakedown Nationals.
“With our 10th annual event happening in 2012 and the growth of our Shakedown at E’town event over the past couple of years, we have reached the level of a national event and felt the name Shakedown Nationals echoes this prolific evolution,” Hance said.
The event is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, October 12-14, 2012, at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park at Englishtown, N.J.
